Brandon Music releases new sheet music titles

Brandon Music Publishing is pleased to announce the publication of two short pieces by English composer John Ramsden Williamson – ‘The Ploughman’ a setting for baritone and piano of a poem by A E Housman, and the piano solo miniature ‘Lament for Sarah’.
The Lament was included in Volume 2 of Williamson’s piano music recorded by Murray McLachlan, on Diversions DDV24144 (but played actually by the composer) and the song appears on the Dunelm CD ’24 Housman Songs’ sung by Nigel Shaw.
Brandon Music’s publishing is a joint venture based in England, though associated with to publish classical and contemporary art-music and jazz, run by Stephen Sutton of Divine Art Recordings Group and Peter Knight of Catalyst Publishing. Its first publication was the set of six baroque Cello Concertos by John Garth, the recording of which, by the Avison Ensemble, has been Divine Art’s best selling disc to date.
Brandon Music – Vermont's Classical Music Haven - is at 62 Country Club Road, opposite Neshobe Golf Club on Rte 73E. It is the North American headquarters of the international Divine Art Recordings Group.
