US Branch of International Classical Music Record Company Introduces New Russian Piano Music and Is Now Sole US Distributor of Australian Record Label
Brandon , VT – Brandon Music, the United States branch of the international Divine Art Recordings Group, launches a new series of Russian piano music recordings and is named the sole North American agent for Move Records of Australia.
Virtuoso British pianists, Anthony Goldstone and Murray McLachlan, popular artists on the British Divine Art Record Label, have signed to Divine Art USA (Brandon Music). The series begins with four discs by Goldstone – music respectively devoted to Arensky, Gliere, Lyapunov, and Rebikov. The McLachlan disc features music by Shostakovich, Kabalevsky, Myakovsky, Shchedrin, and Stevenson (while not Russian, Ronald Stevenson was closely allied with the Russian ethos and the piece on the CD is a fantasia based on the initials DSCH - for Dmitri SCHostakovich).
Brandon Music has also been named the sole agent for US point-of-sales for Australia 's Move Records, which specializes in classical, jazz, film and world/ethnic music. The Move series, from Australia 's longest established independent label, will also be featured on major web retailer – www.ArkivMusic.com .
“Brandon Music is in negotiation with a number of American musicians regarding possible recordings to build more American presence in Divine Art Recordings Group's expanding catalog,” comments Stephen Sutton, CEO of both Brandon Music and the Divine Art Recordings Group.

The Divine Art Record Company, established by Stephen Sutton in England in 1993, is an enterprising and inventive classical music record company. Divine Art has published over 250 classical music CDs from the 15 th to 21 st Centuries on its four major record labels, performed by over 150 artists from around the world. Divine Art also specializes in arranging first ever recordings of recently discovered works by major composers and will soon be launching a series of digitally re-mastered vintage radio dramas. Divine Art recently acquired the Metier, Dunelm, and Athene record labels, and is the sole North American agent for Move Records of Australia, which specializes in classical, jazz, film and world/ethnic music. In 2008, Divine Art opened their United States division – Brandon Music is located in the former Warren Kimble Gallery in the artistic community of Brandon, Vermont and will aim to build up a roster of American and Canadian artists in parallel with Divine Art's UK and European operations.
